Preventive Dentistry

Preventive dentistry is the area of dentistry concerned with preventing dental problems before they become costly or painful, or both. A large part of preventive dentistry is patient education. This includes learning the proper at-home dental care, nutrition, etc. Another aspect of preventive dentistry is oral hygiene through regular dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, mouthguards & more.

Teeth Whitening at Home & In-Office

Now you can have significantly whiter teeth quickly & easily. We offer in-office whitening that is safe, fast & performed only by dental professionals. You can also whiten your teeth at home in a matter of a few days using our advanced at-home whitening kit. Both comfortable & affordable, our at-home whitening involves you wearing a specially crafted tray for a few hours in order to achieve a surprising difference in your smile. Call Power Road Dental Care today for more details.

Dental Implants

Do you have a missing tooth or a gap in your teeth that you’ve been meaning to replace? Dental implants are the best way to replace missing teeth. They allow us to place crowns, partials, bridges or dentures & are a comfortable solution that blend in with your existing teeth. A titanium implant is permanently attached to your bone & a prosthetic tooth (crown) is attached to the implant to make it appear identical to your other teeth. Implants are preferred to bridges because they can improve your bite without damaging neighboring teeth (like a bridge might). Treatment can be finished in three to five visits over the space of about three to six months.

Digital X-Rays

Power Road Dental Care offers in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images that require up to 90% less radiation than conventional film-type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film, which must be developed & then fixed in caustic & environmentally damaging solutions, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor. A picture of the tooth is instantaneously transmitted onto the monitor in the treatment room so we can see your teeth & surrounding structures immediately.

Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a small channel inside your tooth that provides the tooth with nutrients. If it becomes injured or infected, you may lose the tooth. At Power Road Dental Care, we can remedy the problem & restore the damaged tooth, while ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible during the entire procedure. Nowadays, thanks to modern dental advances & technology, root canals are relatively pain-free. Don’t suffer needlessly, call us today for an appointment.

Emergency Dental Care

We recognize that dental emergency situations do arise & at Power Road Dental Care we will do our best to respond to your problem promptly. Whether it is something as simple as a tooth filling or a more complicated procedure, we can provide you with assistance. If the problem arises when the office is closed, call 480-664-1438 & you will be instructed on how to contact Dr. Davis directly.

Restorative Dentistry

We enjoy the challenge of restoring your smile, & thanks to rapid advances in dental technology, there is much more that we can do for our patients. Modern ceramic materials combined with the in-depth experience of our clinical team can assure you of a successful & long-lasting result. Whether the cause is accident or disease, we can restore your smile.

Restorative dentistry can include something as small as a filling. If cavities become too large for an ordinary filling, we will suggest an alternative—a ceramic onlay or inlay. These are skillfully made in the laboratory to fit the shape of the tooth & match the color of the surrounding teeth.

Crowns

Crowns, also known as caps, are used to cover & support teeth that are broken, misshapen or need a large filling that the tooth otherwise could not support. They can also be used to attach a bridge, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that’s already broken. A crown is a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped as well, or to cover a dental implant. A crown can make your tooth stronger & improve its appearance.

Bridges

Bridges are custom oral appliances created by your dentist to replace missing teeth & restore your smile. Bridges are usually made to resemble your natural teeth, but can be made from a variety of materials, including porcelain, alloys, or gold. There are several types of bridges that vary in both stability, application & cost. Fixed bridges are cemented to the natural teeth on either side of the missing tooth gap, & implant-supported bridges use an artificial metal tooth root to attach the bridge to the bone of your jaw. Dr. Davis can recommend which type of bridge is best for you.

Dentures

If you’ve lost teeth from decay, injury or periodontal (gum) disease, dentures are the solution. Whether you need partial or full dentures, they’re essential not only to improve the look of your smile but also your oral health. In addition to allowing you to eat as if you had never lost your teeth, dentures also protect against facial sagging that would otherwise occur & cause a more aged appearance. Dentures can also improve your speech. Denture maintenance combined with a regular regimen of proper brushing can guarantee you’ll lead a more comfortable & healthy life.

Please call us at Power Road Dental Care today to discuss if dentures are the right option for you!

Veneers

Veneers are an excellent alternative to crowns & can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment & creating uniformity. Veneers, which are made of thin, customized material designed to offer you a natural looking, incredible smile.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is a great tool for patients who may be uneasy about their dental procedures. The beauty of laughing gas is that Dr. Davis can constantly adjust your level of sedation during the procedure & once it is shut off, the effects stop almost immediately. A few minutes after the procedure is complete, you’ll be back to normal!

Power Road Dental Care is certified to administer nitrous oxide for nervous patients. Call today to schedule your appointment or to see if you’re a candidate for nitrous oxide sedation!

Filtered Water Lines

We understand your concern about water quality & the importance of keeping you & your family healthy. For this reason, we utilize filtered water lines & distilled water during our dental procedures. By filtering the water & using distilled water for dental procedures, we are able to get rid of any substances that may compromise the health of our patients. The safety, health & dental care of patients are our top priorities. This is just another way to show how much Power Road Dental Care!
